This product is ideal for use with Molecular Barrier Recovery Cream Balm in order to help further support post-procedure or post-treatment recovery. We develop our formulas to work synergistically together. This product can be used alongside our products containing AHAs, BHA, and/or Retinoids. When you introduce new products into your regimen, do a patch test and always consult with your doctor or dermatologist, especially in your post-procedure regimens. Our products containing AHAs, BHA, and/or Retinoids along with this product are also safe for use.

Yes, this serum is specifically suitable for sensitive skin. Unlike AHAs & BHAs, tranexamic acid doesn't exfoliate which tends to make it gentler and less likely to cause peeling or stinging. This formula is designed without silicones, sulfates, denatured alcohol, synthetic dyes, or added fragrance, which may help reduce the likelihood of irritation if your skin is easily reactive.

If you have sensitive or reactive skin, it’s important to perform a patch test on a small area before applying it to your entire face and to introduce it gradually into your routine. If you notice persistent redness, burning, itching, or rash, discontinue use and consult a dermatologist.

The more consistently you use it, the more hyperpigmentation will fade in appearance. For optimal results, apply 1-3 pumps both morning and evening after cleansing and misting, and always follow with SPF during the day to prevent new dark spots from forming and protect the brightening results you're achieving.

Both the Tranexamic Brightening Serum and Retinal Advanced Night Cream contain strong concentrations of acids and retinoids, meaning they should not be used together.

Yes - tranexamic acid and vitamin C can absolutely be used together. For best skin tolerance and results, we recommend using vitamin C in the morning (for antioxidant protection and brightness) and tranexamic acid in the evening to help target the look of discoloration and uneven tone. This AM/PM approach lets each ingredient perform optimally without overloading the skin.

We recommend applying serums in order of consistency, from lightest water-based formulas to heavier oil-based or creamy ones, to ensure optimal absorption and effectiveness. However, exfoliating serums like our Azelaic & Kojic Advanced Clarifying Serum and Mandelic Advanced Pigmentation Night Serum should always be applied first, regardless of their consistency, as they prepare the skin's surface to accept other actives.

Yes. We don't recommend combining retinoids with acids (AHAs or BHAs) in the same routine, as this can be too intense for most skin types and may cause dryness, irritation, or barrier compromise. Instead, alternate them by using retinol one night and your exfoliating acid on another. Similarly, avoid using multiple acid-containing products together in the same routine—instead, use one in the morning and another in the evening. This approach lets you enjoy the benefits of both without overwhelming your skin.

If you experience any sensitivity, take a short break from active treatments to allow your skin to reset and rebuild its natural barrier. During this time, focus on soothing, hydrating products like our Copper Tripeptide & Ectoin Advanced Repair Serum. Once your skin feels balanced, slowly reintroduce actives one at a time.
