The bright yellow hue of the formula comes from the high concentration of Retinal, as this raw material is naturally yellow in color. You’ll even notice the 0.1% Night Cream has a brighter yellow hue than the 0.05% Night Cream. We never add any artificial coloring to our formulas.

The formula may leave some residual color on the skin and light-colored or white fabric and bed linen. Minimize transfer by allowing the cream to fully absorb before contact with fabric. This residual color can be removed by washing the skin with water and washing fabrics with your regular detergent, according to their care instructions.

We recommend starting with 0.05% concentration every other night for people with sensitive skin. Build up to nightly use once well-tolerated by the skin. When graduating to the 0.1% concentration, notice how skin reacts, and alternative with the 0.05% cream if you feel sensitivity.

Instead, alternate them by using retinol one night and your exfoliating acid on another. Similarly, avoid using multiple acid-containing products together in the same routine—instead, use one in the morning and another in the evening. This approach lets you enjoy the benefits of both without overwhelming your skin.
